How Caterpillar Care Began
Caterpillar Care was born from a simple but powerful question — what if early childhood education truly respected the child?
Founder Divya Gupta’s journey began as a mother seeking a joyful, emotionally secure environment for her own child.
Alongside her mother, Sunita Gupta — an educator with over 40 years of experience and former Primary School Principal — she envisioned a preschool rooted in both professional expertise and lived parenting experience.
Before launching the first public centre, Divya operated a smaller home-based early learning setup to deeply understand children’s developmental needs.
In September 2024, the first centre at Brigade Golden Triangle began operations and has served 50+ families.

She leads strategy, operations, admissions, and parent engagement at Caterpillar Care. As a mother, her own daughter is enrolled at Caterpillar Care - reflecting the standards of care, safety, and nurturing she expects for every child.
